Massage Therapy
Appointments include an intake and relevant health history, physical assessment, a discussion of the treatment plan and informed consent, a hands-on massage, reassessment/patient education, and home-care.
My treatments are slow, firm yet intentional, detailed yet comprehensive. My goal is to find the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutics in each session depending on your current needs and mood. I integrate a variety of modalities including general swedish and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, passive and active stretching, myofascial release, dynamic release, breathwork and body awareness cues.

Prior to session
A health intake form will be sent to you to fill-out prior to arriving for your session.
On the day-of
We’ll go through your relevant health history, physical assessment, a discussion of the treatment plan and informed consent before hands-on massage.
Following the session, we will reassess and go over some home-care.
It’s important to highlight that the massage session is the reset, but the post-session work is the retainer.

Frequency of sessions varies based on multiple factors (presenting symptoms, your goals, timeframe of condition, lifestyle, state of health etc.) Generally I recommend 3 treatments spaced 1-2 weeks apart. Some individuals with less serious conditions may feel better right away; while others with more difficult or chronic conditions may require more treatments. You will be reassessed at the beginning of each visit and your treatment plan is tailored accordingly to meet your individual needs.
